good, beautiful and true

A balanced life on and off the mat.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things”  Philippians 4:8

  1. I nominated you for the 3 day quote challenge. Feel free to accept or decline. It’s just posting 3 quotes for 3 consecutive days and nominating 3 blogs each day. I chose you because music was my first theme and that’s how we first connected about studying music in college!

  2. With the events of the past week fresh in our minds, what a great verse to meditate on. Turn your minds not on what evil lies in the world but on the things of God. Thank you for that biblical reminder.

  3. Meditation is good for the soul. And there are so many beautiful things to meditate on in this lovely world. Oh I hear about, see, or occasionally read about not so beautiful things, but even in those there is something (hidden deeply sometimes) that started with a good intention. Suddenly, off the rails it went, possibly because at long last, imperfection set in, as it often does. That’s why I’d rather use my divine right to choose between the trees, and yes be thankful that there are so many beautiful things to meditate on.
